The objective of Arc Flash Hazard study is to analyze and promote the electrical safety for employees working on or near electrical equipment thus minimizing the risk of burns and injuries.                                                                                                    

The way we proceed:

For Ac Flash Hazard analysis on a busbar, we model the whole electrical power system in a simulation software.

We then calculate the worst case short circuit current at the selected busbar, considering the clearing time of protective devices.

Finally, we perform Arc Flash analysis according to NFPA 70E or IEEE 1584 Standard, then we recommend appropriate Personal Protective Equipment to be used by the workers in order to avoid burns and injuries.

                                                                                                                              We can carry out on site measurements to obtain the missing equipment parameters and validate the simulation model.
